Modular construction enabled New Era Homes to manufacture the modules, deliver to the site, stage and install on the customer’s podium while maintaining a weather-tight structure.

• 13 1-bedroom apartments
• Seven 2-bedroom apartments
• Four 3-bedroom apartments

Challenge

The new modular building needed to be architecturally consistent with the traditionally constructed apartment building located on the same site. Beer Properties needed to meet a rigid schedule on a tight infill location.

Solution

New Era Homes provided an exterior design that matched the existing building with some architectural components installed on-site. A mixture of apartment types was used to meet local demand. Staging on-site was constrained, however, the entire modular structure (32 modules) was in place in four days.
